Stanford University secured the top spot with a perfect 100.0 score, followed by Princeton University, Harvard University, Columbia University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. These institutions stood out for exceptional graduation and retention rates, robust support systems, and strong career outcomes.
Perfect Performance at the Top: Stanford University led all schools with a 98% retention rate, 96% graduation rate, a 4:1 student-faculty ratio, and alumni median earnings of $90,555.
Elite Consistency: Princeton and Harvard closely followed, with graduation rates of 97% and 96%, and retention rates of 98% and 97%, respectively.
Student Support: Many of the top-ranked schools reported student-faculty ratios as low as 3:1 to 6:1, offering students strong access to professors and academic resources.
Career Outcomes: Graduates of these institutions benefit from employment rates in the 90–95% range, underscoring the career value of their degrees.
Affordability & Access: While elite institutions dominate the list, the University of Florida stood out for combining affordability — with a net price of $6,351 — and high overall outcomes.
